Mt Pleasant Schools superintendent, Jennifer Verleger, sent out a press release yesterday afternoon, following an incident at the High School. Around 2:35pm, Wednesday, administrators were alerted to a threat of violence, written on a bathroom wall. The threat was dated but not for yesterday! Students were dismissed with extra Police in the building. Mrs. Verleger also said every threat will be taken seriously by our district.
