A teacher in Ithaca has been fired by the school board for what it calls “unprofessional conduct,” which will not result in any criminal charges. The Schools held a meeting this week to discuss tenure charges that were brought against the Ithaca Jr High teacher. She’s believed to have sent a photo of herself to a high school student through social media. Superintendent Steve Netzley says she was released from her employment for unprofessional conduct & violation of board policy!
