Montcalm Co Sheriff’s office has investigated (2) serious traffic accidents that both resulted in serious injuries being sustained. The first crash was last Tuesday on Sidney Rd near Tow Road in Evergreen Township.  The motorcyclist in that wreck, failed to negoiate a curve, left the roadway & came to a rest in a grassy area. Alcohol was believed to be a factor in that crash.  The 2nd accident was last Wednesday on Berrige Rd near Sidney Road in Montcalm Township, when a 19-99 Cadillac lost control & left the roadway. The 3 occupants, all aged 17, were ejected from the vehicle as it overturned. None of the occupants were wearing seatbelts.
