Two years later, Kate Bosworth opened up about her painful divorce from her ex-husband Michael Polish. The 40-year-old actress discussed her 2021 separation on a recent episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show.”
“I think that for someone who really doesn’t want to fail at things and who wants to be so determined and disciplined, the idea of failing a marriage was so heartbreaking,” admitted Bosworth. “It’s still hard. It’s still hard to think about.”
Comparing her ability to move on like moving past a chapter in a book, the actress that ultimately divorce “became not a failure but it became the completion of a chapter and understanding that that’s really what life is.” The friendly duo then “celebrated” Bosworth’s engagement to actor Justin Long, who also once dated Barrymore.
