A teacher from Flushing High School has been selected as a state finalist for the National 2023 Presidental Awards for Excellence in Mathematics & Science Teaching (PAEMST). Karen Sleno has been selected, along with (5) other Michigan educators. Each year 108 teachers are recommended to receive the award before it gets narrowed down.
