An 18 year old man from Lake is facing life in prison after being charged with raping a child relative. William Gabriel Calkins Jr was charged earlier this week with (2) counts of 1st degree criminal sexual conduct involving a child btwn 13 & 15 yrs of age. The exact details of the crime are not known.  A hearing is scheduled for Oct 27th to determine if sufficient evidence exists for Mr Calkins to stand trial.
