The 74th Annual Emmy Awards air tonight at 8 pm on NBC, live from Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, hosted by “Saturday Night Live’s” Kenan Thompson.
Leading the list of this year’s nominees HBO’s “Succession,” which scored 25 nominations across all categories. Coming in second were “The White Lotus” and “Ted Lasso” – tied with 20 nods each.
“Succession” is, of course, up for Best Drama, where it will compete against “Better Call Saul,” “Euphoria,” “Ozark,” “Severance,” “Squid Game,” and “Yellowjackets,” while “Ted Lasso” competes for Best Comedy against “Abbott Elementary,” “Barry,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm, “Hacks,” “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” “Only Murders in the Building” and “What We Do in the Shadows.”
And some big names will be on hand to present awards tonight, including Will Arnett, Angela Bassett, Kelly Clarkson, Vanessa Bayer, Angela DeBose, Taye Diggs, Selena Gomez, Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers, Amy Poehler, Christopher Meloni, Molly Shannon, Jean Smart, Kerry Washington and more.
