Cedar Point announced yesterday afternoon they have decided to permanently retire the Top Thrill Dragster, after 19 seasons of operation. Last year the ride was shut down after a woman standing in line was hit in the head by a piece of metal from the ride. Another ride will take its place but has yet to be determined what that ride will be.
