The last surviving adult star of the Christmas classic “It’s A Wonderful Life,” Virginia Patton Moss, died on August 18th in Albany, Georgia at 97 years old. Moss played Ruth Dakin Bailey, the sister-in-law of James Stewart’s George Bailey, in the movie. She acted in four more films, including playing the lead in the 1948 Western “Black Eagle” before retiring from acting to start a career as a businesswoman.
