Isabella and Gratiot counties will get nearly $100,000 in state grants btwn them for improvements to county fair facilities & programs. State officials announced yesterday that (28) county fair recipients will share in the grants, totalling over $1.455 million. Gratiot will receive $45,000 for roof repairs at the grounds in Alma. Isabella will receive $41,000 for horse barn renovations and another $5,000 for a senior showman scholarship.
