A small, single engine plane, had to make an emergency landing in a farm field, in Gratiot Co, after experiencing mechanical issues. The plane was travelling from Brighton and was en-route to Newberry when the issues started. The 40 year old pilot & his 39 year old passenger, both from Grand Blanc, were not injured & no physical damage to the plane was reported.
