A resident of Oak Tree Village in Mt Pleasant is facing charges this morning that he put an egg in the apartment complex managers gas tank, over a rental assistance dispute.  The vehicles owner was able to ID the person she thought did it b/c he was facing eviction. He was arrested & charged with 1 count of malicious destruction of property, a 5 year felony.  He’s scheduled for a May 19th hearing to determine if enough evidence exists to bind him over for trial.
