Prince Andrew’s bid to have a sexual assault lawsuit tossed is being denied, despite a deal involving the late Jeffrey Epstein. A New York judge refused to throw out the lawsuit brought by Virginia Giuffre, who has claimed they had sex while she was underage and the royal knew she wasn’t of legal age. The development comes after a recent revelation involving Giuffre and Epstein – that she got half a million dollars as part of a 2009 settlement with Epstein. Her attorney, David Boise, says this case isn’t about money – she wants vindication.  The Duke denies all the allegations. What happens next? What’s called the pre-trial “discovery process” begins. “We’re already in the phase of exchanging documents,” Boise tells BBC News. “And that phase will continue for some time.”
