The 2021 MTV Video Music Awards are going down Sunday at 8pm ET, live from the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York. From the looks of things, it’s shaping up to be an exciting night.

As usual the night will be jam-packed with performers, including Justin Bieber, making his first return to the VMAs since 2015, and Doja Cat, who is also hosting the festivities. Other performers include Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X, Machine Gun Kelly, Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes, Chloe, Twenty One Pilots, Kacey Musgraves, Jack Harlow, The Kid Laroi, Ozuna, and Tainy, as well as just added artists Alicia Keys and Normani.

In addition, Foo Fighters will be honored with the VMA’s first-ever Global Icon Award, which celebrates artists whose legacy continues to “influence, inspire and evolve.” They will also be performing on the telecast.

  • As for this year’s nominees, Justin Bieber leads the pack with seven nominations, followed closely behind by Megan Thee Stallion with six. Both artists are in the running for Artist of the Year, where they’ll compete with Ariana Grande, Doja Cat, Olivia Rodrigo, and Taylor Swift.
