A new “Exorcist” trilogy in the works. Universal has spent $400 million on the trilogy coming to Peacock, produced by both Blumhouse and “Halloween” reboot director David Gordon Green. The new “Exorcist” will see the return of Ellen Burstyn, the Oscar-winning star of the 1973 original, and will also star Leslie Odom Jr.
