“Wheel of Fortune” contestant David Pederson lost on a technicality during Wednesday’s episode – and fans aren’t happy about it. Pederson became the latest contestant to learn the long-running rules the hard way when he said “and” before the last of four words in the crossword puzzle.

As longtime viewers will know, you’re not allowed to say “and” before the last word on the list. After Pederson made the mistake, another contestant was able to solve the puzzle with the same answer – minus the “and.”

Now, fans are demanding justice for Pederson on Twitter. “Another contestant losing out on money because they said AND on the crossword puzzle,” writes one Twitter user. “@WheelOfFortune just change the dumbest rule ever and allow this.” Check out more tweets below.
