More stories are coming out about Armie Hammer, who has lost several acting gigs and his representation over leaked racy DMs and abuse allegations. That was bad enough but now? He’s officially under investigation as he’s accused of rape.
The Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed that the actor is a suspect in their investigation of an alleged sexual assault, hours after 24-year-old ‘Effie’ accused him of rape and physical abuse. She’s the woman behind the Instagram account House Of Effie, which was anonymously sharing allegations against Hammer.
Effie has accused Hammer of violently sexually assaulting her “for hours” in Los Angeles back in the spring of 2017, and says she “thought he was going to kill” her. As he has from the beginning, Hammer has denied the allegations, maintaining that his relationships and sexual encounters have all been consensual.
- Hammer’s lawyer claims Effie and Hammer not only agreed to the “mutually participatory” hookup “in advance,” but that Effie sent him “graphic texts” about things she wanted him to “to do to her” as recently as July 2018.
- As his lawyer says Hammer wants to “set the record straight,” even if he has to “expose Effie’s fetishes or kinky sexual desires” at this point, Effie’s attorney is “challenging” Hammer to turn over his communications with Effie to the police.
