Clare County is seeing an uptick in car part thefts. Approximately 20 catalytic converters have been stolen in Clare County as of Wednesday. The vehicles being targeted include larger trucks, pickups and box van-style. Isabella County Sheriff Michael Main said his office hasn’t handled a reported catalytic converter theft recently.
