Marion Ramsey has died. The 73-year-old passed away yesterday at her home in Los Angeles. While no official cause of death has been announced, her management team said she’d been sick in recent days. Ramsey was best known as Officer Laverne Hooks, the high-pitched whispery voiced cop in the “Police Academy” movies.
