The music industry is mourning the death of Mountain frontman and guitarist Leslie West.

The 75-year-old West passed away yesterday after suffering from cardiac arrest at his home near Daytona, Florida. West formed Mountain in 1969, and the group went on to play its third ever concert at Woodstock.

Arguably one of the group’s biggest claims to fame is the hard-rock classic “Mississippi Queen,” which was released on the band’s 1970 debut album “Climbing!”
