Chef David Chang Becomes First Celebrity to Win $1 Million on “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.” Chang won the money for his charity, the Southern Smoke Foundation. The celebrity chef and host of Netflix’s “Ugly Delicious,” made history during Sunday night’s episode as the first celebrity contestant to win the ABC game show’s top prize of $1 million. His winning question, for which he risked half the pot ($500,000), was, “Although he and his wife never touched a light switch for fear of being shocked, who was the first president to have electricity in the White House?” The answer was: Benjamin Harrison, the 23rd president of the United States who only served one term (1889 to 1893).
