Thanks to a public outcry and an online petition, the Charlie Brown holiday specials will be back on broadcast TV. As we told you, Apple TV acquired the rights to all the specials.
The streamer will now allow “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas” to air on PBS. The Thanksgiving special will air on Sunday at 7:30pm ET, while the Christmas one will air on December 13th.
Both specials will also be available for free during limited windows on Apple TV. The Thanksgiving special started streaming today for Apple TV+ subscribers, and it will be available for free from November 25th to 27th. The Christmas special, which begins streaming December 4th, can be watched for free from December 11th to 13th.
