The people have placed their votes, and it’s almost time to crown “People’s” Sexiest Man Alive for 2020. The big winner won’t be revealed until Friday, but so far we know that reigning Sexiest Man Alive 2019 John Legend is ready to pass down the torch to “Aquaman” star Jason Momoa… meanwhile, there’s a 30K-signature Change.org petition calling for America’s top infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci to be named 2020’s Sexiest Man Alive.
As for who else could take the title… we have a few ideas. First of all, after President Donald Trump falsely declared himself the winner, Stephen Colbert decided to name himself this year’s Sexiest Man Alive. Of course, he’s not the winner, either – yet. And he’s not the only celeb who’s gone ahead and nominated himself.
Kevin Hart, Snoop Dogg, John Mayer, Matt Damon, and Idris Elba have shown interest is making the cover. Hart couldn’t help but yearn for the title after his pal Dwayne Johnsonn won in 2016, and Mayer says he’s ready after filling his “SMA index” – AKA, the amount of offers that’d have to be declined before he’d be picked – which he’s calculated to be at 42.
