Chrissy Teigen and hubs John Legend just dropped the news that she’s preggers with their third child. But now? Chrissy is revealing the backstory, which includes the fact that she was pregnant when she had surgery back in June. Fans noticing the timeline were confused and concerned – because she appears farther alongt.
After one of her followers asked if she knew she was pregnant before going into her breast implant removal surgery, Teigen set the record straight. “I did the routine pregnancy test you do before surgery,” she explained. “It said negative. It was not negative.” But apparently, her body was feeling a little funky – and when she took another test – on June 19th, which happened to be the same day her man’s new album, “Bigger Love,” was released – it popped positive.
“He wakes up at 3am to do Good Morning America,” Chrissy adds. “I woke up with him and was like man, should take my monthly test to be disappointed. I was not disappointed. But I was scared. Was pretty positive you shouldn’t get your boobs out while pregnant? Pretty sure.” And she’s right.
But the great news? Everything’s fine. “Even without the surgery, I didn’t think I could get pregnant naturally anyway,” Teigen adds. “So the odds just felt…bad. But what they say so often can be true. When you give up on trying, life has a way of surprising you.” Indeed so – and we wish them the best of luck!
