Evacuations are in place in Midland County due to the flooding in the area. Midland County Dispatch reported that the Edenville and Sanford Dams are structurally sound but they are unable to control or contain the amount of water that is flowing through the spillgates. The Pine River in Alma overflowed its banks closing several streets. In Mt Pleasant Chipp-A-Waters Park trails were closed as was Riverside Cemetery and both Nelson Park and Island Park.
