Isabella County’s Clerk is preparing that August’s primary could all be by mail. Minde Lux told The Morning Sun that with all the envelopes and postage needed, it will be expensive but it will get done. In the event the polls will be open, she said she’s shooting for the end of June to train new younger workers. Most of the workers are now elderly and may not want to be with the crowds due to the virus. Minimum age to work the polls is 18 in Mt Pleasant and 16 in townships.
