As coronavirus continues to affect people around the world, more celebrities are speaking out to comfort fans and give them advice on how to navigate these uncertain times. From hand-washing tips to humor, stars are taking to social media to give their words of wisdom.

Danny Devito, Robert De Niro, and Ben Stiller have all spoken up via New York governor Andrew Cuomo’s Twitter account, urging fans to “stay home and save lives” – because we’re “stronger together” as we collectively self-isolate for the sake of stopping the spread. If it’s any motivation, De Niro offers a cheeky “I’m watching you” at the end of his message.

Meanwhile, Kevin Bacon has contributed to the hashtag movement #IStayHomeFor, saying he’s staying home for his wife, actress Kyra Sedgwick. Want to join in? Post a photo or video with a sign saying who you’re staying home for, and ask six friends to do the same.

If you’re feeling antsy during self-isolation, Michelle Obama has taken to Instagram to offer some tips on how to deal with “anxiety, loneliness and fear” during this time. First and foremost, she says “you aren’t alone.” Secondly, community is everything. That’s why she’s suggesting people offer to volunteer for local charities, help parents reading their kids a story or helping with homework, pick up groceries for at-risk elders in your neighborhood, or order takeout for local emergency and medical staff.
