Yesterday, we told you that Amanda Bynes and her love Paul Michael both took to social media claiming they’re expecting their first child… posts that were quickly yanked by her attorney David Esquibias. Now, Esquibias is asking for privacy on behalf of the star, who is currently “seeking treatment for ongoing mental health issues.”
“Any reports that Amanda is suffering from drug or alcohol addiction issues are completely false,” he says in a statement. “We ask for privacy during this time, and for any speculation about her personal life from the public and the media to cease so Amanda can focus on getting better.”
While he’s not confirming or denying that Bynes is indeed expecting, a source tells “Us Weekly” that the star is “barely pregnant” and “very happy.” She apparently went for an ultrasound recently in Los Angeles, and “seemed excited” although she tried to keep a “low proile.”
