Idris Elba has tested positive for the coronavirus. He revealed his status in a Twitter video, which you can see on the right. He says he feels okay and has no symptoms as yet, but has been isolated since he discovered his possible exposure.
“I got tested because I realized I was exposed to someone who had also tested positive,” he explains. “I found out last Friday that they were tested positive. I quarantined myself and got a test immediately and got the results back today.” He said that both he and his wife, Sabrina, were feeling fine.
The former Sexiest Man Alive also urged his followers to “really think about social distancing, washing your hands.” He added, “Beyond that, there are people out there who aren’t showing symptoms and that can easily spread it, okay? So now’s the real time to be really vigilant about washing your hands and keeping your distance, okay?”
