It’s the end of an era for Playboy. They’ve decided to do away with the Playmate of the Year – an honor they’ve bestowed since 1960. Previous winner included Anna Nicole Smith, Jenny McCarthy, and Karen McDougal.
Instead, a rep for the magazine says that from now on, the honor will be replaced by Playmates of the Year. It’ll celebrate all twelve diverse Playmates of the month from the previous year, making it more inclusive. Apparently the 2019 Playmates were accomplished advocates and admirable personalities in their own right that needed to be showcased again.
That means that Jordan Emanuel has the distinction of being the very last Playmate of the Year.
