A 27-year-old Remus man and a 23-year-old Mt. Pleasant woman were arrested Tuesday afternoon after being recognized at Mt. Pleasant’s Meijer for attempting to steal something. They had been involved in other thefts there before. Their names are being withheld pending formal charges.
