ESPN reporter Ed Aschoff passed away on Tuesday on what would have been his 34th birthday. Aschoff, who covered the Southeastern Conference (SEC) college sports for the network, recently revealed that he got sick while covering the Ohio State-Michigan football game, and it turned into multifocal pneumonia.

“We are very sorry to have to share the devastating news of the tragic passing of friend and ESPN colleague Edward Aschoff,” ESPN said in a statement. “He died earlier today, his 34th birthday. Our thoughts are with his loved ones, including his fiancée Katy.” Source: NBC News
