Netflix is quickly outpacing cable TV when it comes to content. According to “Variety,” Netflix has released more originals than the entire US television industry has since 2005… in 2019 alone. That’s more than 14 years of original shows and movies in one year. For comparison, that’s more than 50% more than the 240 shows and movies Netflix released last year.
