State Representative Michele Hoitenga’s bill to remain in daylight saving time year-round was approved by the House Commerce and Tourism Committee Thursday. She says the practice is “antiquated, impractical, and serves no real purpose.” The bill will now move to the House Ways and Means Committee for further consideration.
