Jennifer Lopez and Al Roker, who produced “Big Easy Justice” featuring Tat-2 The Bounty Hunter, scored a win in court when a lawsuit brought by Everette Draughn was dismissed. Draughn originally sued the two back in 2012. He claimed that the episode that featured him portrayed him as a car thief. He filed paperwork in Louisiana and again in New York, seeking unspecified damages. Both J-Lo and the “Today” weatherman asked that the case be dismissed because – among other reasons – it had been dismissed before. They also claimed that the statute of limitations had passed, making the case invalid.

Luckily for the soon-to-be Mrs. Alex Rodriguez and Roker, their argument was compelling enough to get the judge to toss the case.
