The state of Michigan is giving out more than 50,000 opioid overdose reversal kits, which include a medication called Naloxone (Nuh-Lox-Own). Pharmacies around the state are set to receive the kits, this week. The medicine reverses the effects for someone experiencing an opioid overdose. They’ll be distributed to several major chains, as well as independent pharmacies.
