Mike Tyson spends more on marijuana than some people make in a year. He spoke about his love for the drug on his podcast, Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson.
The champ asked Eben Britton, his co-host, “What do we smoke a month?” The former NFL player-turned-weed advocate casually threw out 40-thousand as a dollar amount and added, “We smoke 10 tons of weed…a month,” at Tyson Ranch. That’s the boxer’s forthcoming 40-acre marijuana farm and resort.
Jim Jones couldn’t believe it. “That’s a lot of weed,” the rapper said. “That’s nonstop, every second weed right there.” So how much is that in quantity? If you go a $8 per gram, 10-tons of weed would be worth more than $70-million. If you do some math, that means $40-thousand would pay for about 5,000 decent-size joints a month (or about 170 a day). Wow.
