An Isabella County farmer wants to bring more pigs to Winn. Farmer Jon Peacock has applied for a permit with the state to open a large scale pig farm…about 4,800 pigs to be exact. Some neighbors are worried about their property values because of smell. Others are worried about the risk for environmental degradation. Tuesday night, the state hosted a public meeting and comment session for the permit.
