Samuel L. Jackson and Chris Rock have been tapped to star in the next installment of the “Saw” franchise. Rock will play a police detective and Jackson will play his father. Production has reportedly begun on the horror sequel, which has yet to be titled. “I’ve been a fan of ‘Saw’ since the first film in 2004,” says Rock in a statement. “I am excited by the opportunity to take this to a really intense and twisted new place.”
