As we previously told you, Halsey is on the cover of “Rolling Stone’s” The Hot Issue, and she’s getting a lot of attention for it. Specifically, she’s getting a lot of attention for her armpits, which have visible stubble.
While some people were initially supportive of the pic, now plenty of folks are giving her a hard time for her unshaven pits. As one person noted, “thought you were a millionaire just buy some wax.” And while Halsey is biracial, some people also seemed to suggest her skin tone was darkened, with one person commenting, “Cultural Appropriation at its best.”
But not all the comments were negative, with some of Halsey’s superstar fans throwing her support. Benny Blanco commented that Halsey now had “rockstar status”, while Demi Lovato added, “There so much yes about this picture idk where to start.”
