Hugh Jackman Is A Step Closer To The EGOT – When Hugh Jackman scored a GRAMMY win on Sunday, he got one award closer to a milestone.
The performer, because we can’t call him “actor” anymore, got a GRAMMY for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media on Sunday for the soundtrack to his musical, The “Greatest Showman.” Having already won an Emmy in 2005 and a Tony in 2004, all Jackman needs is an Oscar to turn the EGOT trick.
If he gets an Oscar, the Aussie wonder will be in great company with the likes of Mel Brooks, Audrey Hepburn, Rita Moreno, and the latest EGOT winner John Legend, among others.
Jackman is set to embark on an arena tour and will be opening the BRIT awards with a performance.
