Clean up of the Velsicol Plant in St Louis continues. The first portion of in-place thermal treatment, that began in March, will be done by Oct. 18. Before that, the EPA will test for contaminants and see if its ok to shut down the thermal treatment. Another area of the site will then be tested and similar treatment could take place soon.
