30-year-old Christopher McGee, a registered sex offender from Mount Pleasant, has been accused of fondling and raping an 8-year-old girl. McGee was already in prison from 2008 to 2011 for an earlier sex conviction. McGee was living with the mother of the victim on May 18th when police began the investigation into the sexual assault. He remains in jail in lieu of bond.
