Independent contractor Barry VanBuskirk will act as the interim building official for Union Township until the position is filled by new township manager Mark Stuhldreher, who has yet to be officially hired. VanBuskirk’s hiring comes two weeks after former building official Randy Robinson resigned amid a lawsuit.
