My1043 and United Way of Gratiot and Isabella Counties have teamed up with Rics Food Center and YOU, again this year, for our 8th Annual “Fill a Mayflower” food drive.
We were outside of Rics Food Center, on Mission & High, on Friday (11/16) from 6am-6pm, collecting your non-perishable food items, cash donations & personal and care items for our local “Care Store!”
We also want to thank the countless number of volunteers, who stood in the cold weather all day – loading & sorting the items & cash collected, for our community.
You may not realize it, but 1 in 5 families in Mid Michigan do not know where their next meal is coming from…and we, as a community came together to help those in need this holiday season!
