Evart is the newest member of the Michigan Main Street Program. The city has been part of Governor Snyder’s Riding Tide Program for the past two years and now part of the Main Street Program. The Downtown Development Authority says the program’s led to business growth in Evart, with several new businesses setting up shop downtown. They’ll be making the big announcement today at the fairgrounds in Evart.
