Mount Pleasant’s mayor is now hoping to represent her district on the state level. Mayor Allison Quast-Lents announced she’s running for district 99’s state representative spot. District 99 covers all of Isabella County and 10 townships in Midland. Quast-Lents has been serving as mayor of Mount Pleasant since January.
