A former Isabella County corrections officer plead out on Friday, to charges of assault on a jail inmate in 2020. 48-year-old, Christopher Cluley of Mt Pleasant, plead to (1) count each of Aggravated Assault & Willful Neglect of Duty. Each conviction is a 1-year misdemeanor or a $1,000 fine. As part of his plea, he signed an affidavit agreeing not to recertify as a corrections officer, within the state of Michigan.
