A prosecutor & senior assistant prosecutor have thrown their hats into the ring for (2) judgeships in Clare & Isabella counties. Clare County Prosecutor, Michelle Ambrozaitis & Isabella Senior Assistant Prosecutor, J.E.B. Allen have announced their candidacy for 55th Circuit & 21st Circuit judge, respectively. Allen is running for the seat opening with Judge Mark Duthie’s upcoming retirement while Clare County Circuit court judge Roy G. Meink hasn’t made a decision if he’s seeking re-election or not.
