A Mt. Pleasant woman who’s been active in local politics is now leading a group of state Republican committee members hoping to remove the party’s chairwoman, a lawyer & 2 other people. Bree Moeggenberg, who was part of a recall effort against (3) Mt Pleasant Board of Education members over pandemic policies, sent a letter to the Michigan Republican Party asking for a special meeting on Dec. 27th, to remove Kristina Karamo, attorney Dan Hartman along with Robert Owens & Jim Copas from their leadership positions.
